Who Are Southmoor AC?
Southmoor Angling Club is a small club, based in Portsmouth.
Previously known as the IBM SHC Coarse Angling Section The Southmoor Angling Club has a membership limited to 40 anglers.
Our 2024 membership fees are £25.00 per adult, £25.00 for Senior Members over 65 and Junior and Disabled anglers £25.

Our Match Scene
Our matches are always fun events, and take place in some of the south’s finest fisheries.
They are very sociable events, and do not suffer from the 'cliqueness' that is sometimes found when joining a new club.
The venues we use for our matches are all stuffed with fish, but still present a challenge for anglers new and old.
Match fishing is a great way to improve your angling skills, and our members are always happy to share tips and advice on how to catch more.
As we use a large variety of venues, it is also a great way to practice and improve on different methods of fishing, and of using different baits.
